Hillsboro travels to Windsor for JCAA boys showdown

A crucial boys basketball showdown in the JCAA Large-School Division standings goes down Friday evening in Imperial.

The Hillsboro Hawks visit the Windsor Owls with a chance to stay in second place in the conference and maybe even take over the league lead.

Windsor has won 3 straight to improve to 11-7 thanks to 3 players averaging double-figure points.

Owls head coach Jason Gillman says balance has been key to their recent success.

Hillsboro is 14-4 and have won five of their last 6 games, including a 58-37 victory at DeSoto in their conference opener Tuesday night.
Windsor is 1-1 in league play.
Coverage leading up to tipoff between the Hawks and the Owls starts with the Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show at 6:45 Friday night on AM 1400 KJFF.
