Hillsboro Woman Seriously Injured in Washington County Car Crash

(Potosi) A woman from Hillboro was seriously injured after a one car crash Sunday night in Washington County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place at 11797 Highway 8, a few miles west of Potosi when a Pontiac G6 driven by 40-year-old Rachael Nelson ran off the road, struck a telephone pole and then a tree.

Nelson received serious injuries and was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi.
