(HILLSBORO) Hillsboro High School’s Abby Schacht is a Regional Radio Girls Soccer Dream Team member for the 3rd time after scoring 15 goals and 5 assists in her senior season.

For her career, Schacht had 61 goals and 38 assists for a total of 160 points along with 18 game-winning goals. Schacht was a 1st-Team unanimous All-District selection all four years; a 1st-Team JCAA All-Conference selection all four years; four-time Class 3 All-Region selection including All-Region Offensive Player of the Year in 2018; two-time Class 3 All-State 1st-team; all while leading the Hawks to a pair of district championships and a Class 3 State Sectional championship.

Out of all those achievements, Schacht is most proud of the Sectional Championship in 2018 over Cape Central.

 
Other than obviously Abby’s head coach and dad, Chris Schacht, Abby mentions a couple of other people that rank right up there amongst great supporters for her.

 
Abby Schacht will be furthering her soccer career at McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois. McKendree women’s soccer is an NCAA Division 2 school that competes in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Abby could potentially feature in the first game of the 2019 season for the Bearcats which is September 7th at McKendree against Kentucky Wesleyan.
