Hillsboro’s Jarvis makes presence felt in another football Dream Team season

(Hillsboro) As a senior for the Hillsboro Hawks, Jordan Jarvis became one of the most intimidating football players in Jefferson County at the line of scrimmage.

He impressed coaches enough to get back on the Regional Radio Dream Team.

As the left tackle, Jarvis anchored an offensive line that lead the way for over 3,500 yards rushing and better than 35 points per game.

On defense, Jarvis finished with 5 tackles for loss from his end position.

But all that success and the honors that come with it are just items checked off of Jarvis’ list.

Jarvis was joined on the Dream Team by junior Hawks teammates Austin Romaine and Jaxin Patterson.

Hillsboro won a conference championship and reached a district title game during a 9-2 season.

Jarvis says being on that good a team means you go to practice each day working with not just other top-tier football players, but your best friends.

And it’s the coaches and players that were there with Jarvis every step of the way that he feels forever indebted to.

Jarvis was a two-time first-team all-conference selection in the MAFC Red Division.
