Hillsboro’s Worley heading for hoops to Black Hawk College

A newly-graduated Hillsboro basketball star will continue playing at the next level.

Hawks guard Ethan Worley has committed to play at Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois.

Worley explains why he decided to join the Braves.

Worley was an all-conference and all-district selection for the Hawks, helping Hillsboro to win the JCAA Large School division each of the last 2 seasons and a Class 4 District 2 championship in 2019.

Worley says the biggest thing he learned at Hillsboro was what it takes to succeed.

Worley was second on the Hawks in scoring last year, averaging almost 13 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

But having an all-conference teammate for a brother in Evan Worley certainly helps Ethan to keep improving.

The Black Hawk Braves went 12-20 last season in the NJCAA Region 4.
