Hiway Rodders Car Club to Host Car & Truck Show Mayfest Weekend in Perryville

(Perryville) Mayfest is coming to the downtown square in Perryville Friday evening, May 6th and Saturday the 7th.

One big event happening during the festival is the 29th Annual Mayfest Car & Truck Show, hosted by the Hiway Rodders Car Club.

Landon Koetting is a member of the club.

He says everyone with a cool vehicle, near or far, is invited to be a part of the show which will be held Saturday the 7th.

Koetting says the best looking vehicles will get a new form of hardware this year, and all participants are invited to another event later that evening.

The Mayfest Car & Truck Show in Perryville will also have rockin’ music from Hot Rod Nights Sound System, there’s a 50/50 drawing, food and drink will be available to purchase and you can buy a car show t-shirt as a souvenir.

All the money raised through the car show goes back to local charities and for scholarships.

Charities the group have supported recently include Shop with a Cop and the Champs Mentoring Program.
