Hog Producers Can Apply For Assistance Through SMHPP

(Farmington) Hog producers can apply for assistance after the reduction in packer production due to COVID-19 Joseph Stillman is the Executive Director of the Farm Service Agency of Iron, St. Francois, Madison, and Washington Counties. He tells us who can be eligible.

Stillman says you will be ineligible if you have a contract.

Stillman says you can visit the St. Francois County USDA Service Center to get started on an application. Hog producers can apply for SMHPP by Friday, April 29th.
