House Springs Man Arrested Following Altercation with Land Lord

(House Springs) Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home in the 5500 block of Stonecrest Drive in House Springs in reference to a disturbance with shots fired.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Grant Bissell says the incident happened on Saturday just before 6pm.

That’s when the tenant went into the home before coming back outside holding an assault styled rifle.

Other than the tenant receiving a few minor cuts and scraps during the altercation between land lord and neighbor, no other injuries were reported on scene.

The suspect, a 56-year-old man from House Springs, was arrested and the sheriff’s office is applying for charges through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
