House Springs Man Seriously Injured in Semi Truck Accident in Jefferson County

(St. Louis, Mo.) A House Springs man was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis after being involved in a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Jefferson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place on Highway MM at Tina Drive when a Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 24-year-old Zackary Earp of House Springs traveled into the opposite lane and struck the front of a Volvo semi truck being driven by 57-year-old Kenneth Hutchings of Villa Ridge.

Earp sustained serious injuries in the crash.
