House Springs teenager killed in traffic crash

(Jefferson County) A House Springs teenager was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Miller Road after Eagle View Drive early Saturday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Joseph Hale JR. was driving a Ford F150 west on Miller and traveled off the roadway, striking a utility pole and catching fire. Hale was pronounced deceased at the scene by Big River Ambulance personnel. The accident took place at 4:50 Saturday morning.
