House Springs Woman Dead after Car Crash in Jefferson County

(House Springs) A woman from House Springs is dead following a one car crash early this morning in Jefferson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Highway 141 at Ellis Grove Parkway when 24-year-old Brittany Uzell was apparently driving her Honda Civic at a high rate of speed, she lost control, the car ran off the road and struck a light post.
Uzell was pronounced dead at the scene by E.M.S. personnel.
