How Jefferson College & Mineral Area College Faired in Wallethub’s List of 2020 Best & Worst Junior Colleges
(Farmington) Wallethub has released it’s list of 2020 Best and Worst Community Colleges.
There are 698 junior colleges in the country with Jefferson College ranked near the middle and Mineral Area College is on the bottom half of the list.
Jefferson College is ranked 301st while Mineral Area College is 455th.
WalletHub says they compared all community colleges across 18 key indicators of cost and quality.
The data set ranges from the cost of in-state tuition and fees to student-faculty ratio to graduation rate.
There is some good news for Missouri as far as this list goes.
Out of the 698 community colleges, State Technical College of Missouri in Linn was number 1 on the entire list.
