Illinois Pedestrian Struck on County Road Near Lesterville

(Lesterville) A man from Illinois is recuperating after being struck by a vehicle as he was walking on a county road in Reynolds County on Saturday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened when 29-year-old Josh Hunt of Chester, Illinois was walking along County Road 200, about three miles east of Lesterville, when a Jeep Wrangler driven by 27-year-old Shelby Norris of Lesterville struck Hunt.

Hunt received minor injuries.

He had to be taken to Iron County Medical Center in Pilot Knob.
