Improvements at Viburnum Golf Course

(Viburnum) The first day of spring is a handful of days away and when the warm weather shows itself, duffers will be heading to the various golf courses around the Parkland.

The golf course in Viburnum received some work over the winter.

Lance Mayfield with the Viburnum Economic Development Committee, which operates the public course, says the first project dealt with sand traps.

Mayfield says they are thinking about other improvements to their 9-hole course, which is located along the Mark Twain National Forest.
