Iron County Deputy Put on Administrative Leave after Shooting Citizen

(Iron County) The Missouri State Highway Patrol is reportedly investigating a shooting involving an Iron County deputy and a citizen.

According to the Daily Journal, deputy Brendon Corbett was placed on administrative leave after he shot and injured David Dudley while on duty last Friday in an unidentified part of Iron County.

We have been unable to receive any other details on the shooting.

Regional Radio has attempted to get details from Sheriff Jeff Burkett, Prosecuting Attorney Brian Parker and Troop E of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

So far, none have returned our calls.
