Iron County Election Results: 11/8/22

(Iron County) 45.5-percent of registered voters cast a ballot in Iron County. The only local issue in the county was prop ‘S’ for the city of Ironton. 315 said yes to 135 no votes. So, it looks like the City of Ironton has been given the go ahead to sell it’s water and wastewater systems to Missouri American Water Company for 3.7 million dollars. Iron County went with the republican in all statewide matchups. For the amendments, Iron County said no to Amendment 1. Amendment 3 fell in Iron County by a little more than 300 votes. Iron County voters also said yes to Amendments 4 and 5.
