Iron County Man Gets Prison For Child Pornography

(Ironton) An Iron County man has decided to plead guilty in Iron County court to two second degree possession of child porn felonies in a plea deal, instead of taking his case to a jury trial.

33-year-old Thomas D. Miller was given 10-years in prison for both felonies and his sentence will run consecutively.

Back in September of 2021, the Ironton man was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control when a search warrant was served at Miller’s Ironton residence off Iron County Road 2334.

Child porn was found on computer equipment.

Upon his initial arrest, Miller did not go quietly.

He apparently attempted to run by physically pushing and pulling away from troopers but he was brought under control and taken to the Iron County Jail.

Miller was originally charged with five counts of possession of child porn and one count of resisting or interfering with an arrest.
