Iron County Sheriff Department may be Flying Drones Soon

(Ironton) The Iron County Sheriff’s Department is seriously looking into acquiring a drone to help with their police work.

Sheriff Roger Medley says he will be the pilot if the department can secure the funding for the radio-controlled air craft.

Sheriff Medley is hoping the Iron County Sheriff’s Department will be awarded a grant or two that they have applied for which will help pay for the drone.
