Irondale Man Dead After Motorcycle Crash in Washington County

(Washington County) A man from Irondale is dead and his passenger injured after crashing his motorcycle over the weekend in Washington County.
The Highway Patrol says the accident took place Saturday night on ‘E’ Highway near Wicket Road, between Potosi and Cadet, when a Honda CT750 driven by 30-year-old Adam Sapp of Irondale was traveling westbound on ‘E’.
Sapp lost control of the motorcycle, it ran off the road, struck a mailbox and overturned.
Sapp was pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger, 55-year-old Bonnie Sapp of Cadet had moderate injuries.
She was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi for treatment.
The crash report from the highway patrol says the Sapp’s were not wearing helmets.
