Irondale Woman Seriously Injured in Two-Car Crash

(Irondale) Two Missouri residents sustained injuries in a two-car crash in Washington County this morning. The Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Route “M”, West of Hedgcorth Lane. 39-year-old Melody Fandrich from Ironton traveled across the center of the roadway and collided with 63-year-old Bonne Terre native Robert Cash. Fandrich wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries from the accident. She was transported to Mercy Hospital South by the Washington County Ambulance. Cash suffered moderate injuries from the collision and was transported to Parkland Health Center, just South of Farmington. Both Fandrich’s and Cash’s vehicles were totaled.
