It Is Lung Cancer Awareness Month

(Farmington) It’s getting a little more easier to be screened for lung cancer.

Bridget Switzer is an R.N. for B.J.C. HealthCare and the nurse navigator for B.J.C.’s lung screening program.

She says it’s the largest program in Missouri.

Switzer tells us who should be getting these screenings.

Switzer says you will still need to get a referral from your doctor first.

You can get lung cancer screenings at Parkland Health Center in Farmington and Missouri Baptist Medical Center in Sullivan.
