It’s the Caledonia Great Pumpkin Festival Charlie Brown

(Caledonia) It’s almost time for this year’s Caledonia Pumpkin Festival.

It will be Saturday, October 14th. Nina Gilliam is one of the festival organizers.

She says the festivals’ theme comes from a classic comic strip.

The pumpkin fest in Caledonia will also have some new attractions this year.

Gilliam tells us about one of them and some of the other fun activities too.

Another new feature coming to the Caledonia Pumpkin Festival is the Victory Lane Race Track.

There’s going to be two live music stages this year.

You can also catch a hayride from the festival park to just down the road to Rowe Crop Farm to check out their pumpkin patch and spectacular corn maze which has four levels of difficulty you can try.

They also have the Pumpkin Barn and Gift Shop, The Corn Bin, The Haystack Slide, The Burlap Sack Slide and new this year, The Groovy Bubbles Station.

The Caledonia Pumpkin Fest actually gets underway at 7 Saturday morning the 14th with Breakfast with the Mayor at the Masonic Lodge and the festival will continue until at least 4 that afternoon.
