Applebee’s Of Farmington Athlete Of The Week Taylor Lorenz Excited To Play In Volleyball Final Four With Arcadia Valley

(Iron County) Taylor Lorenz from Arcadia Valley High School is this week’s Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week. The senior setter tells us how exciting it is to be playing in the state semifinals later Friday and what it was like to beat Scott City in the quarterfinals last Saturday.
Lorenz is the captain of the volleyball team.
Lorenz says the team has been getting a lot of support from the Arcadia Valley community.
The Lady Tigers have won 17 games this season. The previous two seasons they won 17 total games. Lorenz says the team always believed in its potential.
Arcadia Valley will face Fair Grove in the Class Two semifinals Friday afternoon at 4 o’clock in Cape Girardeau. The state championship game is Saturday at noon and the 3rd place game is Saturday morning at 10. J-98 will broadcast the championship game if Arcadia Valley is playing in it. As Athlete of the Week, Taylor Lorenz received a t-shirt, certificate and a coupon for a free entrée at Applebee’s in Farmington.
