Jackson Woman Drives Off Road In Scott County

A 19 year old woman from Jackson was injured Thursday after running her car off the highway in Scott County. According to the highway patrol Britney Koenig was four miles south of Scott City driving on Missouri Highway North when she ran her 2012 Honda Civic off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. Koenig was taken to St. Francois Medical Center in Cape Girardeau with moderate injuries.
