June 21, 1960 — June 19, 2024
Zumbrota
Janet Marie Lohmann, 63, of Zumbrota, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Arbor Garden Place Assisted Living in Eyota. She was born in Zumbrota on June 21, 1960, to Orion and Idella (Iverson) Kyllo. She graduated from Wanamingo High School in 1978. She worked various jobs after high school and eventually owned her own business, Of the Heart, in downtown Zumbrota doing custom framing for many years. Her hobbies included crafting and sewing stockings, quilt panels, oven mitts, and other items for her loved ones. She was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan and could often be found at the VFW cheering them on and visiting with her friends. She also enjoyed camping, gardening, and off-roading in her Jeep. She could often be found with her canine companion, Billy Ray, a Boston Terrier, who went everywhere with her and brought her so much enjoyment. She was a very strong woman and would often tell her family and friends, “I’m fine” or “I’m good,” even leading up to her final days. She was never one to say goodbye to her loved ones, and would often say to them, “Goodbye for now!”

She is survived by her two sons, Joshua (Lyndsay) Busby of Plainview and Tyler (Tabby) Lohmann of Zumbrota; three grandchildren, Hunter (16) and Hallie (14) Busby and Tinsley Lohmann (3); brothers, Les (Cheryl), David (Shellie), and Jeffrey (Kathy) Kyllo; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved dog, Billy Ray.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Lands Lutheran Church with Reverend David Krinke officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
