Japanese Beetles in Your Roses? Here is What To Do.

(Jefferson County) If Japanese Bettles are ruining your rose bushes, you may think traps will stop the infestation. But Debi Kelly, a horticulture specialist with the University of Missouri Extension in Jefferson County says these traps could do more harm than good.

Kelly has this advice if you plan on using traps anyway.

Kelly says if you are going to use an insecticide, make sure the label says it will work for Japanese beetles and is safe for the particular plant.
