Jazz Festival Saturday at Mineral Area College

After an absence of two years, hundreds of high school jazz musicians will return to Mineral Area College in Park Hills this Saturday. Dr. Kevin White is assisting with the 36th Annual Mike O’Brien/Carol Moore Memorial Jazz Festival.

After a day of musical clinics, there will be a concert dedicated to the late Jim Widener, a long-time promoter of the festival.

Saturday’s jazz event on the Park Hills campus is sponsored by MAC and the Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy.
