JCAA Boys Wrestling Tournament Friday

(HILLSBORO)  The Jefferson County Athletic Association boys wrestling tournament takes place Friday 3:30 p.m. at Hillsboro High School. The Girls tournament was held Tuesday and Hillsboro won the championship followed by Festus in second place, De Soto, St. Pius, Windsor and Herculaneum.
Hawks head coach Matt Mitchell says he is happy for a couple of Lady Hawks who won their weight class titles.

On the boys side, the Hillsboro Hawks will be going for their fourth straight conference tournament title. The Hawks come into the tournament ranked number one in the state. Mitchell says the team is aware of the ranking but they try to stay away from the distractions.

Again, the JCAA boys wrestling tournament begins Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Hillsboro High School.
