JCFAC Project Homeless Connect Recap

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson-Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) held another Project Homeless Connect event at the Twin City Wal-Mart last week. JFCAC Community Development Manager Donna Masters says they were able to help 14 homeless persons at the event.
Masters says a few local food pantries and Wal-Mart themselves provided food for those that needed it. There were also donations of sleeping bags, tents, clothing, and blankets. The JFCAC is reviewing the events and is planning for the next one in the near future.
