JCHD Board votes to censure member Davis

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Health Department Board of Trustees has voted to censure one of its board members. The board voted 3 to 1 to censure board member Suzy Davis for a variety of reasons. That’s according to Board Chairman Dennis Diehl.
Diehl says there are other reasons for the decision.
Diehl says Davis has also wanted to visit the Health Department without prior notice.
Diehl says if Davis fails to perform her duties, according to the bylaws, it could result in the board voting to impeach her and remove her from office.
The special meeting of the Jefferson CountyBoard of Trustees was held Tuesday morning.
