JCHD set to begin mobile Covid-19 vaccination clinics

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Health Department is moving from the large Covid-19 vaccination clinics to those on a smaller scale. The Health Department plans to close the Festus site with its final clinic for a second dose of the Moderna vaccine on June 1st. Director Kelley Vollmar says the demand to receive a vaccine has been diminishing.

Vollmar says they will use their mobile vans to hold on-site clinics.

Scheduling for the mobile vaccination clinics will soon be shared on the Health Department website, jeffcohealth dot org, or on their social media platforms. County residents can also receive a Covid-19 vaccination at the High Ridge location.
