JCSO deputy fired after alleged DWI arrest

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office recently fired one of their deputies after being arrested earlier this month in Crawford County. The Deputy, who’s name has not been released, was arrested for an alleged DWI on September 1st. Sheriff Dave Marshak says this type of conduct is not tolerated by his department.

Sheriff Marshak says they do have several open positions to fill, but he is looking for the right fit.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office currently has nine openings to fill.
