JCSO reports few problems with New Year’s holiday

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was not as busy for this New Year’s Holiday compared to past holidays. Sheriff Dave Marshak says the combination of the weather conditions and the ongoing pandemic certainly played a role.
Sheriff Marshak says the number of calls for service decreased about 40 percent on New Year’s Eve and early New Year’s Day.
