JCSO saw some crime numbers decrease in 2022 while others increased

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office found some crimes decreased by a pretty good number in 2022 while others did increase. Sheriff Dave Marshak says some major crimes saw a reduction last year.
Sheriff Marshak says a few crimes increased over the last year.
Another increase in 2022 was the number of catalytic converter thefts, which has also increased in nearly all of the St. Louis metro area.
