JeffCo emergency management using headquarters as distribution logistics center

The Jefferson County Office of Emergency Management will be using its headquarters as a logistics center for the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Ron Harder is the public information officer for the Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency and says the facility in Herculanuem will serve as a front line for distributing emergency health resources.

Harder says the panel of officials they are talking with will work directly with agency director Warren Robinson to get first responders what they need to combat the coronavirus.

There were 21 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Jefferson County as of Sunday evening.
