Jefferson College “Aim for the Stars” Programs Continue this Summer

(Hillsboro) Jefferson College will continue to host its “Aim for the Stars” programs throughout this summer, highlighting the ongoing construction of an on-site public observatory.
Director of Marketing and Public Relations Roger Barrentine says these programs are free for everyone to attend.
The “Aim for the Stars” programs will be held on Sunday evenings from 8:30-11:30pm.
Barrentine goes over a list of upcoming dates.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed and face masks are required at these events.
The observatory is located near the college softball field, north of the Hillsboro campus on Farm Road.
This will mark the first public observatory in Jefferson County that’s affiliated with the St. Louis Astronomical Society.
