(Jefferson County) The Jefferson College Board of Trustees held it’s monthly meeting last Thursday in which the board discussed and approved a variety of agenda items.
College spokesman Roger Barrentine says one of those approvals was a resolution for an emergency capital improvement project for masonry tuckpointing in the Arts & Sciences 1 building.
In addition the board approved the sell of the annual home that’s built by students in the college’s area technical school program.
The home is located at 620 Ray Henry Way in Hillsboro and Barrentine adds this is the next to last home the college can build in that subdivision.
In other news from the Jefferson College Board of Trustees meeting, the board approved to hire an assistant women’s basketball coach and an assistant men’s baseball coach.
