Jefferson College Board of Trustees met

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson College Board of Trustees recently held its monthly meeting. College spokesman Roger Barrentine says the board heard the results of an audit that was conducted not too long ago.

The board of trustees voted against renewing its contract with the college’s bookstore operator, Follett.

Barrentine adds the board is looking over contracts from different vendors to operate the bookstore and will possibly vote on a replacement at the next meeting.

In other news from the Jefferson College Board of Trustees meeting, two new 2020 Dodge Chargers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol were purchased for the Law Enforcement Academy.

The board also accepted the retirement of Daryl Gehbauer, Vice President of Finance & Administration. The next board of trustees meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 9th.
