Jefferson College Donates to Jefferson County Food Pantry

(Hillsboro) Jefferson College recently made a big donation to a local Jefferson County food pantry. Director of Marketing and Public Relations Roger Barrentine on how they were able to make the donation.
Barrentine mentions what food pantry they donated to.
The College has donated surplus food from its own student-based pantry, called the Vikings’ Vault, as a public service to support several other food pantries in Jefferson County.
The Vikings’ Vault provides non-perishable food, frozen/refrigerated goods, and personal hygiene items free of charge to enrolled students who are in need at any of the College’s locations.Volunteers operate the pantry on a rotating basis each week.
