Jefferson College Men’s Basketball Program Begins New Era Wednesday Night

(HILLSBORO) The 21st century edition of the Jefferson College men’s basketball program launches Wednesday and KJFF/mymoinfo.com will be there to bring you all of the pre-game excitement beginning at 6 with tipoff at 7 against the Blue Storm of Southwestern Illinois College. Jefferson College has been without mens basketball since 1987. Jeffco men’s and women’s head coach C.B. Walker says he and the team are ready to go.
Jefferson College President Dr. Dena McCaffrey believes the basketball team will expand the engagement opportunities with students and the community.
McCaffrey says she is very excited to see the season get underway.
McCaffrey wants to invite everyone to come out for the pre-game party and to enjoy the game.
The Jefferson College Lady Vikings will open their season this Saturday at 1pm as they host the Southeastern Community College Lady Blackhawks of West Burlington, Iowa.
