(HILLSBORO) The Jefferson College men’s soccer team is 8-2-1 so far this season and the women’s soccer squad is 1-4. Brocklon Chatmon is the head coach of both programs. He thinks his men’s group has yet to reach its potential.

The leading scorer for the Vikings is Farmington’s Bryce Sancegraw with 6. As for the women’s side, Coach Chatman doesn’t believe the results are a reflection of his talent.

This is just the second year for the Jefferson College women’s soccer program that features several local players such as Hillsboro’s Raechel Hamilton and Amanda Evans as well as Arnold’s Megan Kertz.

To hear what head coach Brocklon Chatman has to say about the rest of both squads, including specifics on the performance of the local talent, tune into KJFF Sports Talk’s Viking Voices Wednesday afternoon at 4:15 on AM 1400.
