Jefferson College to Host COVID Vaccine Clinics

(Jefferson County) Jefferson College will be hosting a couple of free coronaviurs vaccination clinics for students, employees and community members this week.

College spokesman Roger Barrentine says the first clinic will be held on Tuesday.

Those who get vaccinated or show proof of previous COVID-19 vaccination will be entered into drawings for gift cards, technology, and other prizes.

Anyone that brings a friend who gets their vaccination during the clinics will receive an extra entry into the drawing.

In addition, Barrentine provides an update on mitigation strategies and face masks at the college this fall.

Majority of fall classes get underway this week at Jefferson College.
