Jefferson County 23rd Judicial Circuit court still shut down

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County 23rd Judicial Circuit court remains closed to the public for the time being after positive tests of Covid-19 were found last week. For the time being, court proceedings are back to working over video conferences. Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak is hopeful the courts reopen as soon as possible.

Both a local attorney and a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy serving as a bailiff tested positive for Covid-19 in the last week and a half.
