Jefferson County approves medical marijuana dispensary in Imperial

(Imperial) The Jefferson County Council approved its first county medical marijuana dispensary on Monday night. County Executive Dennis Gannon says the first location in unincorporated Jefferson County will be located in Imperial.

Some of the guidelines the facility must follow include; that the company shall not offer services that provide for off-site delivery of medical marijuana except by a medical marijuana transportation facility licensed by the State of Missouri. No drive-through services. The permitted hours of operation shall be between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M. every day except Sunday. No medical marijuana or other product shall visible through glass, windows, or doors. The facility will be located on 1229 West Main Street in Imperial in the Main Street Plaza.
