Jefferson County area Burglaries investigated by the sheriff’s office

(Jefferson County) More than $1,300 worth of tools and lawn equipment was stolen from a residence in the 6100 block of Lakeshore Drive in the Lake Tishomingo area.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell says the items were stolen sometime during the day on October 24th.

None of the items have been located at this time.

The sheriff’s office is also looking into another burglary that occurred sometime between October 23rd and 25th in the 8000 block of Commercial outside of Pevely.

Authorities have since recovered the stolen dumb truck and trailer in St. Louis. Detectives continue to work on leads to find those responsible.
