Jefferson County back into “Red” status with Covid-19 numbers

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Health Department has placed the county back in “Red” status.
The Health Department has been notified of 180 new positive cases for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the county since Friday. This brings the total number of positive cases to 4,051 in Jefferson County. Of those 4,051, 1,099 are active, with 2,887 recoveries, and now 59 deaths. 552 of those positive cases have been at long term care facilities.
Of the five additional COVID-19 deaths since the last report on Friday. The residents were two males in their 70’s, one male in his 80’s, one female in her 70’s, and one female in her 80’s.
