Jefferson County CDC Week 33 Health Update

(Jefferson County) The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released its week 33 health update and Jefferson County remains in the red status for daily COVID-19 cases.
With the official week 33 update, here’s Jefferson County Health Department (JCHD) spokeswoman Brianne Zwiener.
Zwiener provides an update on vaccinations in the county.
Wednesday the JCHD reported 99 new cases of Covid-19 in the county, bringing the total number of positive cases to 27,409 since March of last year.
The current active cases is 667, and there have now been 269 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
