Jefferson County close to naming a new Services Director

(Hillsboro) Jefferson County is getting closer to finding a new Director of County Services. County Executive Dennis Gannon says this position has a lot of moving parts when it comes to building in the county, with many other things. Gannon says they have been busy hiring for different high-profile positions lately.

The Director of County Services became open after Eric Larson resigned from that position earlier this year. Larson left to become the Executive Director of the St. Louis-Jefferson Solid Waste Management District. The job oversees recycling efforts in several areas in the St. Louis metro area. He took that new position in late February.
