Jefferson County Conference Softball Rivalry Tuesday on KJFF with DeSoto Hosting Festus

Tuesday afternoon at 4:30, AM 1400 KJFF will be featuring a Jefferson County Conference softball rivalry match as the Festus Tigers travel to DeSoto to face the Dragons. Festus enters the game at 1-1 in conference and 6-7 overall.

Tigers head coach Jeff Montgomery feels like his team and DeSoto’s are very similar this season.

 
DeSoto is 4-9 overall and 1-0 in the conference. The Dragons suffered 3 one-run losses over the weekend in the Sullivan Softball Classic but battled back to finish off the tournament with a 9-3 win over Osage.

Head Coach Chris Woelich was proud of that fight from his girls and now expects them to be ready for the same from Festus.

 
First pitch from DeSoto is scheduled for Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. with pregame at 4:15 on AM 1400 KJFF.
