Jefferson County Covid-19 death number reaches 8

(Hillsboro) There are now a total of eight deaths from Covid-19 in Jefferson County. The numbers released on Thursday added four more to the list, and all four were residents of Festus Manor Nursing. Festus Manor confirmed the numbers on their Facebook page. Kelly Vollmar is the director of the Jefferson County Health Department. She explains the passing of these individuals did not happen all at once, but are now confirmed.

Of the eight Jefferson County deaths from Covid-19, five of them have been residents of Festus Manor. Vollmar says medical personnel continues to monitor all residents at staff at the Festus nursing facility.
